Good
Sami finally admitted her feelings for EJ. As you all know, I am a Lumi fan so I don't want her to be with EJ. With that said, I am glad that she finally admitted that she has feelings for EJ. I was getting sick of watching her act as if she wasn't falling for EJ during her jealous rages when he was with Nicole. I am hoping that she will quickly get over her feelings for EJ now that she has realized that she cares for him.
Lucas didn't let Sami off the hook. This is a good thing and a bad thing. I'll start with the good one first. Sami was trying to come up with every excuse she could think of to justify why she was with EJ. She even blamed Lucas for why she was with EJ. Lucas wouldn't cave. He told Sami that he couldn't get over what she did. I am torn about their situation so part of me is happy that Lucas was willing to stand his ground and not go running back to her right away. What did Sami expect? She was caught in bed with a man that Lucas despises. She should give Lucas time to get over what she did.
Phloe hooked up. I am not really a fan of Chloe's, but I do like Chloe and Philip as a couple. I think they have good chemistry and I hope they do become a couple again. I know that Chloe was probably hurting because she received the divorce papers so that might have been why she had sex with Philip. I hope that Chloe doesn't end up using Philip just to get over Brady. Philip has already had to be second best because of Shawn so it shouldn't happen again. Besides, if I can't see Lumi together right now, at least we can see Phloe together.
Kate decided to butt out of Lucas' life. I didn't think that would happen. It's about time that Kate realized that she should stay out of Lucas' business as far as his love life is concerned. I wonder how long this will last. It's too bad that Kate didn't think of that sooner. Maybe Sami and Lucas would have stayed together.
Bad
The drug bust. Am I the only one who is lost with this story? I really don't understand the point of the story about the drugs on the docks. I was able to get that John was arrested and that Philip framed him, but that's about it. I think that John and Philip are doing a good job with this story, but I would love for it to be simplified for those of us who don't understand what's going on with it.
The writers are making Lucas the bad guy. I don't like how the writers are trying to make Lucas look like the bad guy in his story with Sami and EJ. Lucas is coming across as insensitive and hypocritical and it's not right. Lucas was understanding of what Sami did to be help her family. He didn't like it, but he understood. He also went to prison because he wanted to protect her from EJ. Fast forward some months and Lucas is being written up as the monster while EJ gets to look like a saint. Sami was even singing EJ's praises while blaming Lucas for her decision to have sex with EJ. If Lucas has to turn into the moustache-twirling villain in the story, then why did the writers bother bringing him back? The writers could have focused on Ejami instead of bringing Lucas back to the show.
Lucas won't forgive Sami. As I mentioned, I didn't like how Lucas wouldn't forgive Sami. He said he can't get past what she did with EJ. I think this is a mistake. He will make it too easy for EJ to get together with Sami. Sami already told Lucas over and over that she loved him and not EJ, but that wasn't enough for him. Sami also signed the annulment papers, but he still wanted to leave her. He already assumed that Sami had feelings for EJ so it shouldn't have surprised him when she confirmed it. I hope that Lucas will eventually get over what happened to soon.
Ugly
Sami defended EJ. I know that I am mentioning Lumi/EJ a lot, but I have one more thing to mention. Sami chose to defend EJ to Lucas. She was going out of her way to tell Lucas how EJ is a good man. She even had a gleam in her eye when she told Lucas that EJ was the reason why he's out of prison. Why did she think that would work? She knows that Lucas hates EJ so why would she do that? He wouldn't have wanted to hear that. I didn't want to hear that either. LOL!
Bope's lack of screen time. Last week, I mentioned this about Tony and Anna. Now I have this complaint about Bo and Hope. Bo and Hope are my favorite couple on Days so I really don't like how they aren't getting that much screen time lately. Ever since Bo came through his surgery with success, their screen time has dropped a lot. That's bad because Bo and hope weren't getting that much airtime before Bo's illness. They are the happiest couple on the show and they should be shown more than that. I was happy to see Bo and Hope together at Tuscanny at least. I don't want to see them on the show just to promote ways to improve the environment.
