The Good
Bo and Hope's time at the pub. I really enjoyed their scenes at the pub. Bo wanted to do something special for Hope and he did. Caroline allowed them to spend time at the pub. We also got a treat and we saw Ciara too. She has aged quite a bit though. It was so cut to see Bo dancing with Ciara. It's too bad that they were shown one day.
Abe and Lexie saw a therapist. Their storyline is a little too late considering Lexie cheated on Abe, but it was good to see them in a storyline again. We even got the chance to see Abe and Lexie out of the police station and the hospital. There is also a possible story brewing about Theo's condition. I'm not sure about anyone else, but it's much easier for me to understand a story about a marriage that's in trouble than stories about shipments and formulas.
Lucas and Sami's confrontation. Lucas' return was a true soap moment. It was filled with drama. Lucas walked in on Sami and EJ in bed together and the stuff hit the fan. Lucas went ballistic. He was really yelling at Sami for getting together with EJ. Sami tried to blame Lucas for why she was with EJ, but Lucas didn't let her get away with it. It was great. I am a Lumi fan so I am very happy that he is back on the show again. I think that Bryan and Allison work so well together that you can see the passion between them even when they argue. I thought John's comic relief was an extra special touch that made their scenes enjoyable. Welcome back Lucas!
The Bad
Chelsea and Daniel's scenes. I think these two are very boring together. Am I the only one who doesn't see their chemistry? He is too old for her in my opinion. I think that he would be better off with one of the older actresses on the show. I enjoy having extra eye candy on the show, but I would rather see Daniel leave Salem than be in a story with Chelsea.
Tony and Anna's lack of screentime. I don't understand why the writers aren't using them more. If they are lucky, they are shown a few times a week. Thaao Penghlis was just nominated for an Emmy so he has proven that he can act so why aren't the writers giving him a chance to do it? He and Anna have good chemistry and it would be good to see them more. Actually, it would be good to see quite a few of the vets more, but I will focus on Tony and Anna for now.
The Ugly
Nick and Max's story. This storyline bores me to no end. I couldn't care less about why Max changed Nick's formula for his project. That is the worst story on the show right now. If this is the best the writers can do for them, then I think they should be written off the show. The Las Vegas/Touch the Sky storylines were bad enough, but it doesn't seem like this one will be any better.
Ejami had sex. I want to state again that I am a Lumi fan. With that said, I can't stress enough how much I hated seeing these two have sex. I can't get past what EJ has done to Sami as well as her family no matter how much the writers want to sweep it under the rug. I have a feeling that the writers will make EJ the hero and Lucas the villain to push for an Ejami pairing. Needless to say, I am not looking forward to that. I know that Ejami have a growing fan base so you all probably won't agree with this being in an ugly section.
