Good
Ava left Salem. I am happy about this because I was never really crazy about her. She pretty much wore out her welcome after her storyline with Steve and Kayla ended. Anyway, EJ told her that Judge Fitzpatrick wouldn't be presiding over her case and that a new judge would be dealing with it. The new judge is tough and couldn't be bought. There was also new evidence against her. Ava decided to skip town instead of facing the charges.
Bo and Hope renewed their vows. I really enjoyed watching Bo and Hope renew their vows. Bo surprised Hope with the ceremony. I enjoyed watching Bo and Hope get ready for the ceremony. It was funny to me watching Hope try to figure out what Bo was doing for her. We also got a chance to see Bo and Steve bond too. The icing on the cake for me was being able to see the flashbacks of Bo and Hope. I thought the flashbacks were great. I also enjoyed watching Bo and Hope recreate a memory from New Orleans. They were riding on a horse and buggy on their way to the church. Everything about the ceremony was perfect right up until the end.
Bad
John ruined Bo and Hope's ceremony. John tipped off a reporter to tell him that Bo covered up evidence. John didn't confess to it, but it didn't take rocket science to figure out that he was the one who did it. He was hiding at the church when the reporter was there. It's a shame that John had to ruin Bo and Hope's moment like that. I wanted to see the party afterwards, but that didn't happen. Thanks a lot, John.
Alice, Philip, and Sami weren't at Bo and Hope's ceremony. Was there some reason why they chose not to be there for Bo and Hope? I know that Francis Reid is sick in real life, but she wasn't even mentioned. Philip being shot wasn't a good enough excuse because Victor was at the ceremony in a wheelchair. He is also suffering from a stroke, but he was there. Considering Bo risked his career for him, the least Philip could have done was show up for the ceremony. Sami is another one who wasn't at the ceremony. There was nothing wrong with her so there was no reason why she wasn't there. Does she have a problem with Bo and Hope? It was a special moment for her uncle, but she chose to miss it. Kate, Daniel, and the Carvers aren't even Bo's family, but they were there for it.
Ugly
Bo was exposed at his wedding. I felt so bad for Bo when the reporter showed up when he did. The reporter confronted Bo about covering up evidence. Abe, Roman, and Bo's family tried to defend him, but it didn't do any good. The reporter kept digging until Bo confessed. I didn't like how the reporter did that. I also didn't like how Kate and Victor didn't do anything to help Bo. They knew that he was protecting Philip, but they kept quiet. They even left the church and let Bo fend for himself. To make matters worse, Bo had to be taken to the police station by his own brother. Roman won't be around when his relatives are sick or dying, but he's always there to take them to the police station.
