Claire Bennet of the television series Heroes is an excellent role model for one so young. Claire is Daddy's little girl. She is not afraid to try new things, even when it comes to what she can do. She loves cheerleading because it is a way for her to challenge herself and stand out. Claire does not much enjoy hiding. When she learns she has rapid cellular regeneration or the power of healing she tested herself to see how much see can take with her friend Zach, who is not quite as popular as she is.
Claire is adopted child of the Bennet family. Because of her abilities, she wants to meet her parents because she wants to meet more people like herself. She very easily figures out that the people that Noah Bennet introduces her as her parents are not her parents. She searches and eventually meets her mother. She does not like to be lied to or controlled. When the Haitian erases her friends and families mind, she is very upset.
When Matt Parkman and Ted Sprague take her family, and Ted becomes dangerous with his abilities, she does everything she can do to save her family including taking a bullet, and going into a flaming home. She takes the risks because she knows she can.
The more she learns about what she can do, the more she wants to help people. She stands up for others and does not like to see people get away who like to hurt others, even those who annoy her. She even tries to protect Jackie when they are in the locker room, when Sylar was after her. When Peter Petrelli saves her life after the incident she does her best to help him when they think he is the man out to kill her. Later, she takes great comfort in knowing that he is her uncle.
Claire does not back down when she feels she is being chased or followed. She wants the world to see her as she is. Claire has many of the same traits as her uncle in helping people; she just likes to do it a little differently.
