He used to be the dark horse of the latest season of American Idol until he had me at “Hello”. After his will-melt-your-heart rendition of this song, I am officially “hooked on cook”. More heart-warming & hair-raising performances (e.g. Billie Jean, Always Be My Baby, Music of the Night, etc.), and all the more I was ardently enamored by his voice, intelligence and disarming smile. I was rooting for him until the very end.
My prayers were evidently answered as he was hailed as the American Idol for the 7th Season. He's so undoubtedly phenomenal for he is the only artist who was able to have 11 songs on the US Top 100 Billboard Charts without commercially & officially releasing a single. Amazing!
However, it leaves me to think when will he ever officially release a single, if not an album? A lot of people are getting anxious to get a copy of his album. So when will it really be becuase I"m starting to get tired of waiting. I do hope the record company will not release it when the interest of the millions of fans has already died down and when I'm officially “unhooked on cook”.
