Here’s what happened this week
At the start of the episode, it was said that the Ravens lost the state finals. It turned out to be misleading. The voiceover was from a game that Dan was in instead of the present game.
Lucas found out that Nathan had to throw the game. He told him how people were depending on that game, but Nathan didn’t care. He had to do it anyway.
Lucas told Skillz how he wasn’t in love with Peyton. He never came out and said he didn’t love her, but he didn’t say he did. He thought that Peyton was confused about her feelings, but Skillz said he was the one confused.
Haley tutored Rachel, but she made the mistake of letting Rachel see where the teacher kept the math test. IT was a safe bet what she was going to do when she saw the cabinet.
While Brooke, Peyton, Rachel, and Haley were driving to the game, they all got in a fight. Haley and Rachel fought with each other about Nathan. Brooke and Peyton fought over Lucas. Then Brooke was cruel enough to through up in her face how she kills mothers. Brooke is just being unreasonable to Peyton.
Karen tried to reach out to Debbie. Karen somehow got Debbie to go to the playoffs so she could watch Nathan win the game. I couldn’t believe that Karen had to convince her to go to the game.
Lucas told Skillz that Nathan was going to throw the game. He told Skillz that they could squeeze out Nathan and play their best. Skillz agreed to do it. Lucas didn’t take his medication before he played.
Peyton told Brooke how she told Lucas how she felt about him and he didn’t return her feelings. When Brooke went to check on Haley, they all found her on the floor grabbing her stomach. When everyone took her to the hospital, the doctor took forever to see her. The nurse was uncooperative to them because they were cheerleaders. They decided to find a doctor on their own. Luckily, there was nothing wrong with the baby.
Brooke actually had a conversation with Peyton. She actually sympathized with Peyton when she told her Lucas’s reaction to her saying she loved him. It would be nice to see them as friends again.
Dante’s plan was working at first because the Ravens were losing the game. Despite Lucas’s and Skillz’s best efforts, they were still losing the game at first. None of that mess would have happened if Dan helped Nathan when he asked him. Dante all but told him that it was all his fault. Nathan ended up changing his mind about throwing the game and wanted to play to win.
Karen took Debbie to rehab instead of the game. I thought she was going to take her to the game. She got her good. Hopefully she’ll stay in rehab this time. Karen ended up making it to the game. I thought she was going to miss the game because of dealing with Debbie.
The Ravens won the game. I thought that Nathan was going to end up throwing the game, but he didn’t. He passed the ball to Lucas and he made the final shot.
When Brooke congratulated Lucas, she noticed the way he looked at Peyton. She told him to go to her. He listened and he went to Peyton. He told her that she was the one he saw with him. I’m glad that they got together. I’m interested to see how they will be as a couple.
Dan tried to make a deal with Dante to help get Nathan out of his debt. It didn’t work because Dante said Dan didn’t have enough money and power to make it work. Dante admitted to Dan that he picked Nathan because he is his son. I thought Dan was the one who sent Dante after Nathan.
Rachel revealed to Brooke that she was the one who was failing Calculus. Brooke wanted to know why she was getting tutored if she wasn’t failing. Rachel ended up stealing the test for Brooke. I don’t know why the writers chose to mislead us with this. It’s not believable that Brooke wouldn’t have known that she’s failing Calculus.
When Nathan and Haley were on their way home, Dante ran Haley over. He was probably trying to hit Nathan, but Haley pushed him out of the way. Dante really hit her hard. It was so hard that I was speechless. Dante ended up crashing himself. Nathan went after Dante and started punching him. Dan showed up and stopped Nathan. Dan said that Dante was dead. I think he was dead already. Dan told Nathan to go be with Haley and the baby. He took the blame for killing Dante. While Lucas was with Haley, he went into cardiac arrest when the ambulance came. I figured he was going to be affected by not taking his pills.
That’s all for this week. See you next time.
