Lucas's Proposal
We saw the flashback to how Lucas proposed to Lindsay. She told him how she found the engagement ring in his drawer. He got lucky and didn't have tot ell her about the ring. He opened up to her about not being able to write and possibly ending up being a basketball coach. She said she would love him even if he were a coach. He must have liked her response because he proposed to her and she accepted. I thought it was tacky of him to give Lindsay the engagement ring that was meant for Peyton.
Haley Apologized To Nathan
She apologized to Nathan for being upset with him about Jason. Then she told him about Lucas and Peyton kissing. Nathan thought she might have misunderstood what she saw. She wanted to tell Lindsay what she saw, but Nathan stopped her. He thought that Lucas should tell Lindsay himself if he's cheating on her. I wonder if he'll remember that after what he did. I'll get back to that later.
Alice Was Fired
When Mouth went to clean out his desk, he found out that Alice was fired for sleeping with an employee. He got lucky that the boss didn't know that he was sleeping with Alice. The boss offered him an on-air job since Alice was sleeping with the former on-air personality. Mouth also found out that she was sleeping with another co-worker.
Peyton Confessed Her Feelings To Lucas
She didn't want him to marry Lindsay. She wanted to know why he would hurt her by proposing to Lindsay. He told her it wasn't to hurt her. He did it because he loved her. Peyton couldn't believe that he didn't feel the same way she did about him. Haley interrupted them before he got the chance to say whether or not he felt the same way about Peyton. Haley warned Lucas to be committed to Lindsay if he's going to marry her.
Haley Told Peyton About Kissing Lucas
When Haley and Peyton were at the recording studio with Mia, Haley appeared angry with Peyton. Peyton wondered whether or not Haley was mad at her. Haley finally told Peyton why she was upset with her. She told her about kissing Lucas and about her true intentions of coming back home. She wanted Peyton to move on with her life since she didn't want to marry Lucas. Since Lindsay accepted Lucas's proposal, Haley wanted Peyton to leave them alone. I don't see why Haley is so concerned with Lindsay's feelings. Peyton is supposed to be her friend, but she shows more loyalty to Lindsay.
Owen and Brooke Got Into It
Owen and Brooke seemed to hit it off at the bar. They had a civil conversation with each other. When he saw her at her store, things changed. They ended up getting into a fight. Later in the episode, Brooke was in Owen's car and she tried to turn him on. He turned her down at first, but caved in. She turned the tables on him and turned him down.
Carrie Lied To Haley
When Haley called home and said she would be late for dinner, Carrie told her that Nathan and Jamie weren't home. She said she would take care of dinner. When Carrie got off the phone, she called out to Nathan and Jamie to come to dinner. She's already acting as if she's Nathan's wife. It must have made her day when Jamie accidentally called her “Mommy”. Haley is going to get enough leaving Carrie around her family so much.
Carrie Kissed Nathan
Carrie told Nathan that he had paint on his face and eyelid. I didn't see any paint on his face. While she was allegedly getting the paint off of his face, she kissed him. He didn't stop her from doing it. If Jamie didn't call out to her, who knows how far he would have gone. I wonder if he's going to tell Haley about the kiss since he thought Lucas should have told Lindsay about kissing Peyton.
