Jamie found his card for Dan
As you may know, Haley threw Jamie's thank you card for Dan in the garbage. Apparently they never do their garbage because Jamie found his card. He was disappointed that Haley lied to him. He was off walking by himself. Luckily Haley saw him and she told him to get in the car. Later on in the episode, Haley tried to explain why she and Nathan were keeping him from Dan. Jamie thought Dan needed a friend. Haley didn't seem too fazed by that at first. When Dan showed up at the basketball game (I'll get to that in a bit) Haley finally let Jamie give him the card. I'm glad that she finally let Jamie see Dan. They looked good together. I know that Dan is supposed to be the devil himself, but Jamie might be enough of a reason for him to change his evil ways.
Haley had second thoughts about singing
Mia was back in Tree Hill to see Peyton. Mia told Peyton and Haley about her life on the road. None of this seemed to interest Haley too much until she started talking about how hard it is to have a personal life. Haley started to think about her own family. Haley wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing anymore because she wouldn't be able to see her family that much. This is the same woman who was talking to a therapist about her music career. Now that she's about to record her music, she has doubts. Mia had to be the one to convince her that she is lucky to be able to have both. I don't think that Haley had too much of a problem yet since she doesn't have her songs done yet. She should be more concerned once her cd is finished.
Angie had her surgery
Angie finally had her surgery. Brooke was really scared. She wanted to find out the doctor's first name. For some reason, he wouldn't give it to her. That didn't do anything to set her mind at ease. It was nice to see Peyton and Lucas be there for Brooke. I just want to add that Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush are so professional. You would never know that they are divorced. They talk to each other like they are still friendly with each other. Anyway, Angie's surgery was a success. I am happy about that, but it's what I expected. The doctor finally told Brooke his name. His name is Ethan. I have a feeling that Brooke and Ethan are going to be together soon. If it doesn't happen in the season finale, it may happen next season.
Debbie met someone online
Debbie met someone online. Nate caught her showing her breasts to the person she met. She ended up meeting him later on in the episode. I thought that her mystery man was going to be Dan, but I was wrong. It ended up being Skills. I don't understand why he would do that. Once he saw her pictures online, she should have ended it. I wonder if the writers messed up with the consistency because Debbie showed him her breast with her camera so he should have known who she was before they met. He mentioned how she said she was younger. He should have known that she was an older woman because of the camera that was on the computer. He should have seen her face as well as her goodies. Why would Skills do that to Nate? He ended up going home with her. Skills was worried that Nate was mad at him because of what happened with Jamie. I'm sure it will be even worse when Nate finds out that he is having an affair with his mother.
Lindsay's news for Lucas
During half time at the basketball game, Lindsay called Lucas. He found out that she is dating someone else. This affected the way that Lucas coached the game afterwards. He was being really nasty with his team. That was just what they needed since the opposing team was trying to ruin Quentin's chances at a basketball career. The other coach wanted his team to break his hand if they had to do it. Once Lucas saw what the players were doing, he yelled at the referee. Lucas let his personal problems get in the way and fought with a student on the opposing team. I don't think Lucas needs to let Lindsay get him that upset again. He shouldn't have been that surprised that she was dating someone else. The woman refused to talk to him when he was begging her to take him back.
Lucas shocked Peyton
After Lindsay broke Lucas's heart, he decided to get drunk. Peyton took him home and Lucas dropped the bomb on her. He told her that he hated her. He said that Peyton ruined his life and he wished she never came back to Tree Hill. I thought that was horrible. It is not Peyton's fault that Lindsay dumped him. Lucas chose Lindsay and not Peyton. He made it perfectly clear he wanted Lindsay so he can't blame Peyton for why Lindsay left him. I think Lucas is looking for someone to blame and that's why he said that to her. I noticed how he made sure to kick Peyton in the gut after she took him home. I hope that he will try to apologize for what he said to Peyton.
