Nathan Didn't Want Dan at Jamie's Party
Dan went to Nathan so he could go to Jamie's birthday party. Nathan didn't want him there. He is still angry at him for killing Keith. He didn't want Dan anywhere near his son. Apparently, Nathan forgot all about Dan saving Jamie from Carrie. If for no other reason, that should have made Nathan change his mind about Dan being at the party. If that wasn't good enough, he could have let Dan be there for Jamie since Jamie wanted him at the party. After all, the party was for Jamie so he should have been allowed to invite who he wanted to invite.
Skills Felt Guilty about the Kidnapping
Skills opened up to Peyton and Mouth about his guilt over Jamie getting kidnapped. He thought that Nathan and Haley blamed him for Jamie getting kidnapped since he didn't go to the bathroom with him at Lucas' wedding. He told them how Nathan and Haley haven't asked him to come over to be with Jamie. Peyton and Mouth told him to talk to Nathan and Haley about it. He took their advice and talked to Nathan and Haley at the party. He apologized to them for not taking Jamie to the bathroom when Carrie kidnapped him. They accepted his apology. He wanted to know why they haven't been asking him over. They told him how they are having trust issues and it's not just him. They were obviously not that upset with Skills or they wouldn't have allowed him to go to the party. I'm glad they straightened that mess out because Skills and Jamie look so cute together.
Lucas Tried to Work Things Out with Lindsay
Lucas got his hopes up at the idea of getting Lindsay back. They had a nice conversation at Jamie's party. She even agreed to meet him at the house after the party. Unfortunately for Lucas, it wasn't for what he was hoping for. She only wanted to meet him at his house to pick of the rest of her things. Lucas tried to talk her into staying with him, but it didn't work. She gave him back his key and left. It's something how Lucas is going out of his way to get Lindsay back, but he gave up on Peyton. At least Peyton didn't humiliate him by leaving him at the altar the way Lindsay did. All Peyton did was tell him she wasn't ready for marriage yet and he gave up on her. I guess he must really love Lindsay to go to so much trouble to get her back.
Brooke had Problems with the Baby
Predictably, Brooke was having problems with Angie. She kept crying and crying and Brooke was having trouble with her. It turns out that Angie has to have surgery for her heart. If she doesn't get the surgery soon, it will affect her when she gets older. Brooke thought she would be able to take care of Angie and do her work at the same time. She was wrong. Angie threw up on her designs. She eventually got Lucas' help with the baby. She couldn't get her work done and needed a place to work. He invited her to stay the night with him. I wonder if the writers are planning on putting Brooke and Lucas back together. They did have a close moment so you never know.
Dan is Dying
Nathan went to Dan's house to talk to him about the present he gave Jamie. Dan showed up at the party even though he wasn't invited. Debbie stopped him from going to the party so he left his gift with her. He gave Jamie Nathan's old jersey. Anyway, Nathan didn't like him giving Jamie the jersey. Dan wanted Jamie to have memories of Nathan. Then he showed Nathan his will. He is leaving Nathan and Haley the beach house. He wanted them to raise their family there. Nathan didn't want the beach house. When Nathan was about to leave, Dan dropped the bomb. He told Nathan that he has a bad heart. He needs a transplant or else he's going to die in six months. I'm not sure if he's telling the truth. He could be trying to play on Nathan's sympathy to get back in his good graces. I hope the writers don't kill him off because despite how evil he is, I don't want to see him go.
