Why did Lucas and Nathan beat up Dan?
I didn't see why they felt the need to attack Dan after he brought Jamie home. Did they forget that he was the one who saved Jamie? He could have let Carrie keep him of he wanted to do it. I'm not trying to say that Dan is a saint, but I thought their reactions were extreme.
Nathan and Haley went to therapy
They decided to go to therapy after Jamie was kidnapped. I wonder why they didn't think to do that before. They might have been able to work things out sooner. The therapist got them to talk about their lives and their marriage. She wanted them to act like 22 year olds, but Haley didn't want to be spontaneous or act like normal 22 year olds. The therapist also got them to talk about Nathan's love for basketball and her love for music. It's easy to forget that Haley wanted to be a singer once upon a time. In the end, they managed to work things out. Ironically, they worked things out after they left the therapist.
Why did Brooke want to have a baby?
Brooke suddenly wanted to have a baby. She was reviewed by a counselor to see if she could be a suitable mother. The counselor knew things about her. She knew about her relationship with Lucas and her past with Rachel. Brooke figured out that the counselor spoke to Brooke's mother. The counselor didn't think Brooke was suitable enough to be a mother because of her age and lifestyle. Brooke let her know how her mother thought she couldn't handle a business on her own. She also pointed out to the counselor how she would be a good mother to any kid. It's weird that she would want a child now when she has a demanding business. I'm not saying that she couldn't handle it, but this doesn't seem like a good time for her to adopt a child.
Why did Lucas wait so long to confront Lindsay?
He had to wait four weeks after the wedding before he spoke to Lindsay. He confided in Andy about his situation with Lindsay and Peyton. He decided to go to Lindsay after his talk with Andy. He told her how much he loved her even though she could be with him. He plans on waiting for her until she realizes that they should be together. If I were him, I wouldn't have waited so long to talk to her. If she walked out on me, I would have confronted her sooner.
This was a good episode, but it felt like I was watching therapy sessions. Everyone was telling people their problems as if they were all talking to psychiatrists. Haley and Nathan were the only ones talking to a therapist, but the others acted as if they were too.
