Peyton's old boss showed up.
He was waiting for Peyton in her office. His goal was to get Mia away from Peyton's label and signed to his. He approached Mia and made Peyton look bad. He thought Mia would do better at a major label instead of Peyton's.
Somehow Peyton and Mia cooked up a scheme to get control over her songs. They staged a fight in front of Peyton's former boss and Mia got what she wanted. She had a say with which song would be her first single. She got to write her own songs and get the publishing rights. The main thing she wanted was to work with Peyton and she got that too. Now that Mia is going on tour, I wonder what Peyton's going to do since she is her only artist.
Haley caught Nathan and Carrie together.
Nathan was in the shower and heard a voice. He automatically assumed that it was Haley, but it wasn't. It was Carrie. I don't see how he didn't know it wasn't Carrie since she doesn't sound like Haley. When Haley came home, she caught Nathan and Carrie coming out of the shower. When Haley was looking for an explanation, Carrie lied and told her that Nathan loved her. Before Nathan could deny what Carrie said, Haley kicked them both out of the house.
Dan was up for parole.
He took responsibility for killing Keith. He wanted to attempt to make things right with his family if they let him go. He tried to appeal to the parole board by mentioning his sons and how he would try to be a better father. Lucas spoke at the hearing. He didn't make Dan look good at all. Lucas made it a point to tell the board that he and Nathan didn't visit him. He found out that Nathan did see Dan. He was upset with Nathan for going to see Dan. He thought that Nathan visiting Dan would make the parole board let him go sooner. I don't see why Lucas got so upset. It really wasn't his business if Nathan went to see Dan.
Carrie tried to make Haley look bad.
Carrie showed up at Jamie's school to tell him why she wasn't going to see him anymore. She put it all on Haley and told him that Haley hated her and didn't want her around anymore. Jamie was upset that Haley got rid of her.
When Carrie showed up at the house, Haley ripped her a new one. Carrie told Haley about kissing Nathan and how he saw her swimming naked. Haley kicked her out of the house. When Carrie was gone, Jamie yelled at Haley and said he hated her. Nathan was crazy not to tell Haley what Carrie did since she couldn't wait to sell him out. Also, Haley gave him the room to confess to what Carrie did when she wanted to know if there were any more secrets. He had the perfect opportunity to say something, but he didn't.
Rachel was back.
When Owen and Brooke came back from their first date, they saw Rachel passed out on Brooke's floor. She had a band tied to her arm. Owen revived her while Brooke was in shock. After he revived Rachel, he found a bag of drugs.
When Rachel's drug pusher showed up at Brooke's house, he beat him up and paid him off. He threatened him if he bothered Rachel again. Brooke was curious as to how Owen knew who the drug pusher was. He admitted to being an addict. He has been sober for eight years. He wanted Brooke to help Rachel since she wasn't there for years ago. Brooke listened and wanted to get Rachel in rehab. Rachel didn't want to go to rehab. She wanted to stay with Brooke. Rachel made Brooke feel guilty by saying that she didn't want her to leave her the way she did before. If you ask me, Rachel could have stayed gone. I didn't really care for her so I wasn't heartbroken that she wasn't on the show.
Jamie broke Haley's heart.
Haley tried to reach other to Jamie about Nathan and Carrie. He didn't want to hear it. He gave Carrie the credit for why Nathan got better. Then he admitted that he wanted Carrie to be his mother. That admission had to be like a knife in Haley's heart.
When Nathan went home to talk to Haley, things got worse. They got into an argument over Claire. Jamie interrupted them, but Nathan sent him outside. While Nathan and Haley were arguing, Jamie almost drowned. They got to him in time before he drowned. Haley blamed Nathan for what happened and wanted a divorce. Haley shouldn't have blamed Nathan for what happened because neither one of them were watching Jamie when he fell in the pool. Nathan had no way of knowing that would have happened. I hope they will be able to make things work out for them because I would hate to see them break up over this after they have been through so much.
