Lucas shot at Dan

Last week, Lucas shot at Dan. Luckily for Dan, Lucas hit the wall instead. I wasn't surprised by that. Lucas forced Dan to leave and then he went to Karen. Lucas found out Karen had preeclampsia. It's something that will give her seizures. It will also affect her kidneys.

Debbie wondered if Haley told Lucas about her gun. She said she told him earlier that day. Debbie went to Karen's house and saw the bullet hole. She thought the bullet came from her gun. She confronted Lucas and slapped the taste out of his mouth. She told him how her gun was missing and the bullet came from a gun like hers. He told her how Dan killed Keith. She was willing to believe it. She blamed herself because Dan thought Keith tried to kill him instead of her. She should feel like dirt. She offered to stay with Karen and she wouldn't let Dan near her. She warned Lucas to stay away from Dan. Did she really think that was going to make up for what she did? If she didn't keep her crime from Dan, then he wouldn't have killed Keith.

Brooke wanted to confess

Brooke told Chase that she wanted to confess about the test. She didn't feel right about graduating knowing what happened to Rachel. When Chase let it slip that he loved her, she was convinced that she should tell the truth. I wasn't exactly sure why she wanted to tell the truth. At first I thought she did it to ease her conscience, but maybe she wanted to come clean.

Nathan wanted Skillz's job

When Skillz tried to talk to the coaches at the college he got into to get Nathan on the team, it didn't work. They weren't interested. Nathan came up with an idea. He wanted to work at Skillz's father's factory. As you may remember, Skillz had a job waiting for him at the factory if he didn't get his scholarship. Skillz liked Nathan's idea and wanted to talk to his father about it. Skillz's father gave Nathan the job.

Dan tried reaching out to Lucas

Dan wanted Lucas to believe that he didn't kill Keith. He wanted Lucas to try and understand that he's innocent. He thought he would be in a lose/lose situation. He would never forgive himself if Karen didn't wake up. If she did wake up, she would hate him. Lucas didn't care one bit. He still wanted Dan to pay for what he did. Dan threw up in Lucas's face that the baby would grow up without a father the way he did. Lucas said he would take care of the baby, but Dan wouldn't. I don't know why Dan thought Lucas would care that he would lose Karen. He knows how he felt about Keith so why did he bother trying to reach out to him?

Brooke confessed

Brooke confessed to Principal Turner about stealing the exam. She gave him the rundown about the way she was when she was a freshman. She said how much she's changed over the years. What she said must have worked because he was willing to let her graduate. Brooke was relieved because she thought she wasn't going to get the chance to go to college. I didn't really doubt that she was going to get to graduate.

Karen's condition worsened

Since Karen's condition worsened, the doctor had to deliver the baby through Cesarean. Lucas wondered if Karen would be fine once the baby was delivered. The doctor wasn't sure, but they had to save one life at a time. There wasn't much they could do for Karen as far as medication went because of the baby so they wanted to save the baby first. Karen had a girl. Luckily she was able to be saved. She was so adorable.

Skillz's and Bevin's parents wanted to meet

Skillz and Bevin have been dating for a while, but their parents never met. What was really crazy was the fact that they didn't tell their parents about the other's race. I guess that's not necessarily something you bring up in conversation, but it seemed strange that their parents didn't know. Their parents hit it off and they were really friendly towards each other.

Debbie told Nathan the truth

When Debbie and Nathan were talking about graduation, Nathan said Don would be there. She wanted him to stay away from Don. She told him what Don did. Nathan couldn't believe it. He thought Dan changed and he wouldn't do something like that. He wanted Dan to say that Debbie and Lucas were wrong about him. He promised to have his back if he said they were wrong. Dan couldn't do it. Nathan flipped out and said he died when Keith died.

Nathan went to visit Keith

While Nathan was visiting Keith at the cemetery, Whitey showed up. He told Nathan that he took a job coaching at a college. Conveniently, he wanted Nathan to play on the team.

The graduation

The kids graduated. The principal called the people on the show to the stage to get their diplomas. He also said Rachel graduated too. Then Haley gave her valedictory speech. I thought it was sad and happy at the same time.

Karen took another bad turn

During the graduation, Karen flat lined. I know Lucas is going to be a basket case if she doesn't make it especially since eh could have been with her.

Haley's surprise

While Haley was making her speech she thought she was going to go into labor. That would have been quite a surprise. Since she should be as far along as Karen, I wonder if her baby will be premature too.
