Lucas caught Karen and Dan together
After Lucas found out that Don killed Keith, he went home. He caught Karen and Dan kissing. He stopped them by attacking Dan. Dan punched him in the face. Lucas blurted out that Dan shot Keith. Karen didn't buy it. She wanted Lucas to give up because Jimmy killed Keith.
Peyton got an internship
When Peyton and Brooke were talking about their futures, Peyton told Brooke about her new internship. She got a job at Sire Records. The problem is the job is in LA. Brooke was excited that they would get to spend the summer together. Peyton didn't know how she was going to tell Lucas.
Haley couldn't give her valedictory speech
Haley struggled to come up with a valedictory speech. Principal Turner dropped the bomb on her that she wasn't going to be the valedictorian. Thanks to Nathan's fallout with the basketball game, she had to suffer for it.
Lucas went to the police
Lucas went to the police to tell them about Dan killing Keith. Conveniently, Dan was there at the time. The police didn't believe him. Dan made it seem as if Lucas is just going through stress. Lucas should have known that he wasn't going to be believed without proof.
Chase spoke to Brooke
After a while from not talking to Brooke, Chase had a conversation again. In case you don't remember Chase, he's the boy from Clean Teen that Brooke dated a little while ago. Anyway, it seemed as if they could possibly get back together again. He said he would tell her how he felt about her in her yearbook. Brooke was really excited about that.
Dan wanted to help out
Dan told Karen that he wanted to help her out with Lucas. He was concerned with him. He also wanted to help her with the baby. She agreed with him.
Karen went to Lucas and let him know important he is to her. He confided in her about his dream. He told her how Abby confessed to Dan shooting Keith. She didn't believe Lucas. She thought that he needed to accept that Keith was gone. She ended to move on with her life. Lucas assumed that she wanted to move on with Dan. She thought that he needed to get help. She must really be falling for Dan to not be willing to believe Lucas's accusation. I remember when she was suspicious of him once upon a time. Now she thinks there's no way he could have killed Keith.
Jimmy was cut out of the yearbook
Mouth was upset that Jimmy was cut out of the yearbook. Principal Turner thought that Jimmy would be remembered, but he couldn't be in the yearbook. I can't say that I blame the principal. Jimmy did do a terrible thing so I'm not surprised that he didn't want him in the yearbook.
Nathan's scholarship
Whitey told Nathan that Duke took his scholarship away. Nathan was ready to give up on basketball. Whitey wanted him to find a school that would take him. He taught Nathan too much for him to give up on basketball.
Lucas confronted Dan
When Lucas showed up at Dan's house, he wanted to know why Dan changed his walls to red. Dan said he wanted a new color. Lucas didn't buy that. He told him how Abby said she was sending him messages. Dan said Abby was crazy. Lucas threatened him and wanted him to stay away from his mother. Dan said he would take care of his mother and the baby while he was at school. Lucas wasn't having it. He said eh would prove that Dan killed Keith.
Nathan tried to get into another school
Nathan tried calling different schools, but it didn't do any good. No other school wanted him. He blamed himself for what happened. Haley said they would find a way to fix the mess they are in. She is a very supportive wife. I doubt too many people would be as understanding about what he's done.
Chase fooled Brooke
Brooke was humiliated when Chase signed her yearbook. She thought he was going to sign how he felt about her in the yearbook, but he didn't. He wrote something about being glad that he met Brooke. It was basically what you would write in a yearbook. She was humiliated because she poured her heart out in his yearbook. She shouldn't have been so anxious to tell how she felt about him.
Haley told Lucas about Debbie's gun
Haley told Lucas how Debbie took her to a shooting range. That made a light bulb go off in Lucas's head. He went to Debbie's house and got her gun.
Peyton told Lucas about the job
When Peyton told Lucas about the job, he was very understanding about it. He told her to take the job. He would be waiting for her when she got back. He said she would always be in his heart no matter what happened. That should have made Peyton suspicious of him. I'm surprised she didn't question why he didn't have a problem with how she's going to be gone. It's great that he wanted her to go, but he could have been a little concerned. He was talking like he was up to something.
Nathan tried to change Principal Turner's mind
He went to Principal Turner to get him to change his mind about Haley making her valedictory speech. He didn't want Haley to suffer for what he did. He reached out to Principal Turner by asking if he would want his wife to suffer for something that he did. That seemed to do the trick. I never had a doubt that Haley was going to make her speech.
Chase went to Brooke
He showed up at Brooke's apartment to talk to her about what he wrote in her book. She lied and said she didn't mean what she wrote. She just wrote them because she thought he would write the same thing. He admitted that he felt the same way about her, but he didn't know how to put it in to words. That was enough for her and she forgave him.
Dan was threatened
When he was having dinner with Karen, he got a message from who he thought was Abby. When Dan got up to leave, Lucas showed up. He said eh was the one who sent the message to him. He pulled a gun on Dan. Karen tried to get him to put down the gun, but it didn't do any good. He kept the gun on him. Karen ended up fainting. Dan thought she could have miscarried and tried to go to her. Lucas didn't want him to go near Karen. He ended up pulling the trigger and the gun went off. It wasn't known if he actually shot Dan. I don't think he did. I think he might have shot the wall.
