The gang went to help Mouth
When Skillz got a text message from Mouth, he got the gang together and they went to Texas to help Mouth. I wonder why Bevin didn't go with them. Is she even with Skills anymore? Anyway, the gang went off to find Mouth. Unfortunately for them, the car broke down. Luckily for them, Chris just happened to be on a tour bus going their way. He gave them a ride to pick up Mouth. He was his usual nasty self.
Speaking of Mouth, he looked as if he was going to have a rough time in jail. The other prisoners surrounded him as if they were going to kick his butt. Instead, they were his ears. He opened up to them about his situations with Shelly and Rachel. They got really involved in his stories. When the gang came to bail him out of jail, they didn't want him to go.
The prom
Haley suggested that they all go to the prom. They were stranded in Texas since their car wasn't ready so she suggested they go to the prom. They rented their clothes from a thrift shop and crashed the prom.
Brooke and Peyton got closer
I don't know about you, but I liked how Brooke and Peyton got closer. They make good friends. When Haley offered Brooke their old apartment, Brooke agreed to live there. Peyton wanted her to move back in with her, but she didn't want to. Instead, Brooke asked Peyton to move in with her. Peyton agreed to do it. I wonder what's going to happen to her house once she moves in with Brooke.
Brooke told Haley the truth
During the prom, Brooke told Haley about the test Rachel stole for her. She finally admitted to her that she cheated. Haley was none too pleased. She all but called her a terrible person for causing her to get fired. I think Haley went easy on Brooke. Brooke thought it was okay to cheat because she didn't want to lose her clothing line. Brooke should be glad that Haley wasn't as unforgiving as she was to Peyton when she messed up.
Mouth told Chris about Rachel
I didn't get why it took almost the whole hour for Mouth to tell what happened between him and Rachel, but he finally told Chris about it. He said that Rachel left him for another guy. By the way, Mouth got arrested for sleeping on a park bench. Anyway, Rachel wanted to be with him, but he still wanted Shelly. She was upset and left him for another guy. Chris thought that he was crazy to let Rachel go, but Mouth thought he made the right choice in the end.
Lucas and Peyton had sex
It finally happened for Lucas and Peyton. They had sex during the prom. Peyton told him she was glad that she waited to have sex with him for as long as she did. It made it seem special. I wasn't sure if they would have had sex since they got interrupted before, but they did. I don't know why, but I thought it would be different from that. I guess I expected the scenes to last a little longer. We saw more of Brooke trying to seduce Chase and nothing happened between those two.
Dan figured out who was tormenting him
Dan blackmailed Joe into finding out who was tormenting him. It turned out to be a girl named Abby. She's the one they show in the flashback looking out of the Venetian blind when Dan shot Keith. She's most likely the one sending him the text messages and making him think he was crazy. I was disappointed by this reveal. Abby is an unimportant character who wasn't introduced to us until recently. Who would care if she was the one making him suffer? I would have rather the person be someone who is shown on the show more. In any case, I wouldn't want to be in Abby's position when Dan goes after her. It won't be pretty.
