Lucas went back to school
Lucas say Peyton reunited with Peyton at school. Things got uncomfortable when they saw Brooke. Luckily for them, Brooke didn’t approach them. She walked off with Rachel.
Gigi wanted to break up with Mouth
Gigi warned Mouth that she was going to break up with him. She bugged him about how he wanted to break up. She told Mouth that she wanted to hang around people her own age. She’s a sophomore and he’s a senior. She knew that things would end for them so she wanted to get it over with before it was too late.
Dan wanted to plead guilty
Dan told Nathan that he was going to plead guilty to Daunte’s murder. Nathan didn’t want Dan to spend the rest of his life in prison for something he did. Dan thought it would be better if he were in prison instead of Nathan. He thought he had to pay for his sins. I thought that was weird seeing Dan do something for someone else for a change.
Debbie had a hard time in rehab
As with other people in rehab, Debbie thought she didn’t belong in rehab. She thought it was a waste of time. She even offended one of the other patients. She ended up signing herself out of rehab. She ended up at Nathan’s place looking for drugs. Nathan caught her looking in his medicine cabinet for drugs.
Nathan told Haley the truth about the accident
Nathan told Haley why the car accident happened. He confessed to how he got involved with Daunte. He also told her how he was the one who killed Daunte and not Dan. Miraculously, she was understanding about it, but she moved out of the apartment. She went to Karen’s house.
Dan was cleared of murder
Dan found out that Daunte was already dead before he attacked him. He got really lucky. I didn’t think that he was actually going to do hard time.
Brooke failed her test
Brooke ended up failing her math test. She said she stayed up late studying for the test, but she still failed. Conveniently, Rachel had a copy of the key to the cabinet with the answers. I don’t see why Brooke didn’t get Haley’s help with the work. It would have been better than getting the answers.
Lucas tried to reach out to Haley
Lucas tried to talk to Haley for Nathan. Haley let him know that she was upset with Nathan. It was weird because she wasn’t mad when Nathan told her what happened. She seemed like she blamed him for her accident. She thought it was easier to forgive Daunte than it was to forgive him.
Peyton confided in Haley
She told Haley why she was scared to be with Lucas. She has been pushing him away because she was afraid to lose him. She gave a recap of the people she lost so she thought the same thing would happen with Lucas. Haley told her that none of them were Lucas and that he would be there for her.
Brooke and Rachel were busted
When Brooke and Rachel broke in the school, they were busted. The principal caught them in the hall on their way to the cabinet. I figured they were going to get caught. Luckily for them, there was a Clean Teen meeting going on at the time to justify why they were at the school when they were.
Peyton opened up to Lucas
Peyton told Lucas why she was afraid to kiss him. He reassured her that she wasn’t going to lose him because he loved her.
Nathan tried to get Haley back home
Nathan went to Karen’s house to talk Haley into moving back home with him. Before she agreed to go home, she needed to know that he would be honest with her. He said he would be. He apologized for lying, but he couldn’t promise that he wouldn’t protect her. He said he loved her and that he would do anything to protect her. She must have got the message because she wanted to go back home.
Someone broke in Dan’s house
When Dan and Karen went to Dan’s place, there were clippings up on the wall that called him a murderer. Karen figured out that Dan took the blame for killing Daunte. I think she is starting to see him in a new light. Too bad it was all for nothing.
This was a pretty good episode. I’m looking forward to next week’s episode. See you next week.
