Mike needs to get his priorities straight
He has a baby on the way, but he was choosing to spend his money buying drugs. He said that he became addicted because he reinjured his shoulder working overtime to get money for the baby. He should have been saving the money for the baby. He should have been saving the money instead of throwing it all away by getting drugs. I have a feeling that he lied about his reason for getting hooked to make Susan feel guilty about wanting the baby. I think he takes them because he is an addict. He proved that by being willing to blackmail Adam to get him to write a prescription for him. It was a perfect opportunity for Mike when someone named Sylvia showed up at the house. She must be important to Adam because he ended up helping Mike. Since he's an ob/gyn, he couldn't help him directly. He went to Orson so he could prescribe something for Mike. Orson didn't think it was ethical, but Adam had a different plan. He blackmailed Orson to help him the same way Mike blackmailed him. He threw up in Orson's face how he helped Danielle deliver the baby. I guess everyone on Wisteria Lane would have been blackmailed if Mike didn't get his drugs.
Mike really needs to get help because his addiction will ruin things with Susan. She will put Julie and her unborn baby first and she should do that. I guess the writers had to find a way to cause trouble for Susan and Mike. I'm surprised that his antics are the cause for their troubles and not hers this time.
Bree has become obsessed with Benjamin
Bree wanted Benjamin to sleep in the bed with her and Orson. Orson didn't like the idea. He thought he might crush him and he didn't think they would be able to have sex with Benjamin in the bed. She didn't seem to care about Orson's concerns. She thought it would be good for Benjamin if he stayed in their room and not his crib. She practically said that Andrew was a screw up because he stayed in his crib. Andrew heard her and decided to move out of the house. It was disturbing to me that she was almost convinced that she gave birth to the baby. Orson had to remind Bree twice that she didn't. I hope that she doesn't become too obsessed with the baby because she will lose everyone. Also, if Danielle decides she wants her baby back, she will be screwed.
Gaby/Carlos/Victor/Edie
Edie saw an article about Victor and called the police about Gaby. I guess Edie thought that she could finally get the last laugh on Gaby and Carlos. Lucky for Carlos and Gaby, they weren't arrested. Gaby certainly didn't help matters at all. She was very nonchalant when the police questioned her the first time. She should have at least pretended to be worried about Victor. She was also willing to drug Carlos to keep him from going to the police. Gaby has really lost her mind. The writers aren't really doing Gaby justice this season. She does one crazy thing after another.
Anyway, Victor ended up being alive after all. His body washed up on a beach. He pretended to have amnesia when the police wanted to talk to him about what happened. He told Gaby that he remembered everything after all. I can only imagine what he will do to her as well as Carlos now that he's not dead after all.
Lynette's stepfather had a surprise
Lynette's stepfather surprised her. He was in contact with her mother. Phyllis needed money so Glen was going to give it to her. He helped Lynette find Phyllis. While they were talking, Glen dropped a bombshell on Lynette. He confessed that he was gay. Apparently, this was a good thing because Lynette and Phyllis were able to bond. Lynette thought that Phyllis was the reason why Glen left, but that wasn't true. Lynette wanted her to stay with her, but she said no Phyllis thought it would ruin their relationship. Glen invited Phyllis to stay with him. I guess they will be a new version of Will and Grace.
