Katherine's aunt showed up
Katherine's aunt Lilian showed up at her house. She seemed like she was practically on her death bed. That did end up being important after all. Lilian made her first mistake by talking to Katherine about the secret they know concerning. Dylan. Katherine didn't want to talk about it. I guess Lilian should have gotten the hint. She didn't get it. She ended up trying to talk to Dylan about what happened, but Katherine showed up in the nick of time. Katherine may as well be a movie villain because she always shows up at the right time to keep Dylan from finding out anything from her past. You would think Dylan would be suspicious about this. Later on in the episode, Lilian was in pain and decided to write a letter to Dylan. She ended up dying when she finished the letter she wrote. The letter ended up under the bed. I think Katherine killed her. It was so predictable that Lilian was going to die before Dylan learned the truth.
Marc Cherry recycled a Golden Girls plot
There are new neighbors on Wisteria Lane. They are Bob and Lee. They are life partners. Susan was the first person to meet them. Susan naturally put her foot in her mouth when she thought they were business partners and when she thought they had children. She was wrong on both counts. By the way, are the writers trying to offend every audience member through Susan? I guess she's going to say something offensive every week. Anyway, she went overboard to please Bob and Lee because she thought they didn't like her. She heated up cookies for them, but Lee didn't want them. She bought them a gift. She also kept their dog so they would be grateful that she found him. The dog ended up getting in to Mike's paint and he messed up Bob's suit. This is the same thing that happened on the Golden Girls. Rose found out that she had a colleague that didn't like her so she went overboard to please him. Susan did the same thing with Bob and Lee.
Lynette and Tom
They were having issues because Lynette thought Tom was turned off by her because she is bald. Her wig came off while they were together and he wanted to put it back on for her. Gaby suggested that she try to role-play with Tom. That seemed to work because Tom wanted her to do it again. She didn't want to at first. They ended up talking about it and he revealed that her cancer is affecting him too. It's good that they finally got a chance to work things out.
Edie's prognosis
Edie went to the doctor and found that she has crabs. Edie claimed she got it at the spa. Her prognosis also affected Carlos, Gaby, and Victor. I guess Carlos was having unprotected sex with Edie and Gaby. Edie had to use a special shampoo for three days to clear it up. Carlos dropped the bomb to Gaby. They thought they would have been caught cheating because of Edie. Gaby had to trick Victor so that she could cure him of his crabs too. Since Carlos and Gaby are having sex with Edie and Victor, they shouldn't be so careless when they are together.
Edie figured out the truth
During Bree's baby shower, Edie bumped into Victor and noticed his cologne. She thought it smelled familiar, but she couldn't place it at first. The waiters kept asking people if they wanted crab cakes and then it dawned on her. She figured out it was the shampoo she had to use. She looked around and saw Carlos, Gaby, and Victor and put two and two together. Needless to say, she was very upset about it.
Bree's surprise shower
The ladies wanted to throw Bree a baby shower, but she didn't want it. Andrew went behind her back and told them to have the party anyway. They ended up throwing the party for her. Andrew schemed against Bree because she wouldn't let him rid a scooter that Phyllis bought for Danielle. I guess Andrew is back to his old ways. Anyway, Bree and Orson showed up at their house and had a shock. It's a good thing they weren't talking about their plan since they had so many guests there including Rex's mother Phyllis.
Bree and Phyllis fought at the party. Phyllis kept trying to tell her how she wanted to like her, but Bree wouldn't listen. Phyllis decided that she wanted her mother's sable coat back so she went to get it. While Phyllis was looking for her coat, she found something better. She found Bree's baby pillows. Bree obviously had to get caught or she would have gotten rid of them. Anyway, Bree told Phyllis the truth. Phyllis wanted to spend time with the baby, but Bree doesn't want her to do it. They ended up fighting again. Bree had to tell Phyllis how Rex didn't want her around him. He is dead so Bree didn't have to give Phyllis a bad feeling about her son. Phyllis went back downstairs to announce that she was leaving. After what Bree said to her, I was waiting for her to tell everyone the truth. She didn't do it. She did something else. She went to the convent so that she could get Danielle out of there. Maybe it will only be a matter of time before Bree is caught.
LOL@Susan screwing everything up and always putting her foot in her mouth. Who knew she was such an incredibly talented actress(or is she) lol. Where the heck did Edie get crabs? How much more is Carlos going to put up with to protect his money. I say transfer it to another account and dump her, not just for Gaby's sake but for his own.
I'm glad Tom and Lynette are able to work through things, I adore this couple and I wish them nothing but the best.
I'm on the fence about Bree being outed only because I am still not convinced that Orson is a stand up guy and Bree (last season anyhow)had her suspicions as well. Was it ever revealed why Orson ran down Mike? And what about his mistress. I have young children, and most times they are right on cue when my shows are on and demand any and all attention, so I could have missed something. I don't think so because I can't imagine Bree still being with him if he is a double murderer.
Anyhow, keep up the good writing, I've always enjoyed reading what you have to say.
