Susan had problems with Mike's money
Mike's mother came to visit him and Susan. She was quite a woman. She gave Susan a problem with almost everything. She didn't like the fact that Susan didn't know how to cook so she took it upon herself to teach her. She also wanted to show her how to clean up the house. According to Mike's mother, Mike was complaining to her about his life with Susan. When she wanted to stay until Susan had the baby, Susan lied and said her water broke. She came up with the nurse so Mike would talk to his mother. When Mike did talk to her, Susan went into labor for real. She ended up having a baby boy. It's something how Mike's mother was nowhere to be found when Mike was in the hospital, but she was around just before Susan had the baby.
Carlos and Gaby found out about Ellie
When Carlos and Ellie went out, a smoke alarm went off in Ellie's room. Ellie had her door locked so she had to use her key to get in the room. When Gaby opened the smoke alarm, the battery fell out. It went under the bed. When Gaby looked under the bed, she saw the drugs. Carlos wanted to go to the police, but Gaby didn't want to do it. She considered Ellie a friend. Carlos had to remind her about the trouble he's in and they couldn't risk getting caught. While they were at the police station, they ran into one of Ellie's customers. It turned out that the customer was an undercover cop. The police wanted Carlos and Gaby to help them set up Ellie. They would get Carlos' record clean if they helped out. They agreed to do it. Out of the blue, Ellie gave Gaby flowers for Mother's Day. It was a thank you for being kind to her. It was as if Ellie knew that Gaby and Carlos are trying to set her up. It was awfully convenient how she suddenly wanted to give her flowers right after they agreed to help the police. Maybe the undercover cop tipped her off about Gaby and Carlos.
Bree and Edie faced off
Bree and Edie got into a fight over Edie kissing Orson. Bree ended up slapping Edie. The war was on. When Edie wanted to sell a house to a couple, Bree talked to the couple and got them to turn Edie down for the sale. Edie was ready for a war. Bree made it easy for Edie to hold something over her head. She kept giving Orson a hard time about seeing Benjamin. She told him how technically the baby wasn't related to him. Orson threatened to go to a lawyer, but she beat him to it.
While he was in his hotel, Edie showed up to get him to talk to Bree. Luck was on Edie's side when she looked on the table. She found a letter Orson wrote about Benjamin being Danielle's son. Edie used that as an opportunity to get Bree to leave her alone. She let Bree know that the baby is Bree's grandson, not her son. Edie blackmailed her into leaving her alone. She also wanted to be invited to all of Bree's parties and wanted her to bake for her. I don't think those were tall demands. Bree could have handled that. Besides, if Bree didn't start with Edie, Edie would have never gone over to Orson's hotel and she wouldn't have seen the note.
Bree didn't want to give in to Edie's demands so she confessed to her friends that she was passing off Danielle's son as hers. They were all understanding about her secret. I don't see why she didn't tell them in the first place. They would have probably understood her situation. Anyway, they all went to confront Ellie about blackmailing Bree. None of them want to talk to her anymore and they aren't going to acknowledge her when they see her. I thought that was cold considering Edie did try to apologize to Bree. Bree also was very good not to tell her friends why Edie wanted to blackmail her. She only told what made her look like the innocent one.
Lynette made things worse with Kayla
Lynette was determined to make Kayla pay for talking to twins into setting Rick's restaurant down. She gave the psychiatrist (Tom's friend) a hard time about Kayla going to therapy. The psychiatrist had to ask her if she loves Kayla. Lynette acted as if the question was an SAT question. She claimed she loves her, but things were complicated. The psychiatrist said that Kayla was going through a hard time and that Lynette doesn't like Kayla. The psychiatrist suggested that Lynette spend time with Kayla. Tom was for the idea too. Lynette got mad at Tom for wanting her to spend time with Kayla. Well, she was the one who wanted Kayla in therapy so she shouldn't have questioned what the psychiatrist wanted her to do. Needless to say, it didn't go well.
Lynette took Kayla shopping, but they didn't agree on a dress for Kayla. Lynette slipped and admitted to being told to spend time with her. Kayla caught on to her slipup, but Lynette tried to cover it up. It didn't work. Kayla saw it as an opportunity to cause trouble. She ended up threatening to do something to Penny the way she did to Preston. That was the last straw for Lynette. Lynette rightfully slapped Kayla, but she was watched. Kayla most likely told Tom because eh was upset with her for slapping Kayla. Lynette tried to explain why she did it and tried to apologize, but Tom wasn't hearing it. Lynette should have controlled herself and not slapped her. I know Kayla had it coming, but Lynette should have resisted temptation. Kayla called the psychiatrist and lied to him about the amount of times Lynette hits her. Judging from the next episode, Lynette is going to get arrested. All the slap did was give Kayla what she wanted: Lynette out of the picture. Lynette should have found a non-violent way to handle Kayla. If she did, maybe Kayla wouldn't have been able to set her up.
Katherine/Dylan/Wayne
During an argument between Katherine and Wayne, she hinted that Dylan isn't his child. Katherine was trying to get Wayne to hit her the way he used to when they were together. It didn't work. He kept his cool even though he wanted to hit her. Wayne took the gum that Dylan was chewing while she was outside and he took it to get a DNA test done on it. It turned out that Dylan isn't his child. Dylan showed up at Wayne's apartment and he looked at her arms. I'm not sure what he was looking for, but whatever it was, it wasn't there. He got upset and he threw her out. I have a feeling that Dylan isn't Katherine or Wayne's child. I wonder what Katherine did to their child. Did she kill her and she kidnapped another child? Maybe that's why she doesn't remember anything about her past.
