The aftermath of the storm
The people in Wisteria were helping each other during the aftermath of the storm. I thought that was really nice of them to take the time to help the less fortunate.
We found out that Carlos was in the hospital after getting hit in the head. The extent of his condition wasn't revealed until the end of the show so I'll get to that later.
Everyone was there for Lynette when they were trying to get everyone out of Mrs. McClusky's house. Susan was trying to help Lynette stay positive, but Edie wanted to be realistic and tell Lynette that Tom and the kids may not have made it out alive. I thought that was so tacky of Edie. The last thing Lynette needed to hear was her family wasn't going to make it out of the house. Luckily for Lynette, Tom and the kids were okay. You would never know that the house caved in on them. Unfortunately, Ida didn't make it out okay. She was killed in the storm. Ida's death wasn't a surprise to me since I already read spoilers that she wasn't going to make it. When Lynette and Mrs. McClusky were cleaning out Ida's house, Lynette found out that Ida was a female baseball player. Mrs. McClusky said that Ida wanted to have her ashes spread out at the stadium where she played. Lynette also found out that Ida saved her children's lives at the risk of losing hers. That made Lynette want to honor Ida's wishes.
Katherine's secret was found out
Katherine has two more people who knows about her secret. Do you remember a little while back when Katherine's aunt wrote the note before she died? I just knew that Katherine would have found it before anyone could see it, but she didn't. Her worst nightmares did. Before I get into that, let me tell you what lead up to her getting caught. When Kayla found Sylvia's body in the tree, Katherine and Adam were at the morgue with her. Adam thought things between them could go back to normal. He was wrong. Katherine wanted him out of her house because Sylvia's death didn't change the fact that he cheated on her with Sylvia. While Adam was packing, Dylan tried to convince him to stay. She couldn't be alone with Katherine. Adam wanted to go anyway. When he started packing again, he looked under the bed. That's when he found the note Katherine's aunt left. Naturally, they didn't read it out loud.
When Katherine showed up, he told her he was leaving her because he wanted to go. Katherine thought he was just trying to save face and didn't care why he was going. She could have been more wrong. He told her that her secret was worse than what he did. When he left, she burned the note in the chimney. That didn't keep someone else from finding it. When everyone was cleaning up the neighborhood, Dylan found the note and put the pieces together so she was able to find out Katherine's secret. Of course we didn't get to find out what this terrible secret is. I think she might have killed her first husband or something.
Susan let Bree move in with her
Bree wanted to stay with Susan because her house was destroyed. I don't see why Susan's house was in tact when almost everyone else's houses were a mess. Susan and Julie were against it because of what happened the last time she stayed with them. Bob and Lee tried to hook Bree up with their friend Walter. He was supposed to fix her roof. The plan changed because Walter was dumped and he didn't want to fix her roof. Bree tried to get Bob and Lee to set him up with their friends, but they thought their friends wouldn't go out with him. That gave Bree the idea to set him up with Andrew. It's easy to forget that Andrew is gay since the writers pretty much dropped it. Anyway, Bree and Orson tried to set Walter up with Andrew. Andrew figured out what Bree was doing and only went through with it for a television. When Susan and Julie found out what was going on, Susan tried to put a stop to it. She and Julie wanted Bree to stay because she was a great cook and took care of the house. When Susan's plan worked, Bree wanted to know why she ruined things for her. Susan said that Bree made her forget about her problems by taking care of her. Bree accepted that reason and wanted to stay.
Gaby and Carlos's scenes
When Gaby was at Victor's funeral, Milton told him about Victor's will. He cut her out of it and was going to leave everything to him instead of her. He wanted her to leave the funeral or he was going to tell everyone that she was a lying, cheating, wh*re.
When Gaby told Carlos about the money, he wanted her to straighten things out. When she went to Al's house to see if he had a copy of the document, she found out he was dead. She tried to check the garage where Al's wife got rid of his offshore accounts. When Carlos found out, he understood. Carlos and Gaby agreed to be with each other even though they are poor. When Gaby left the room to get coffee, the doctor dropped the bomb about Carlos's condition. He is blind and didn't want to tell Gaby the truth because he thought she would leave him.
That's all for now. I'll see you again whenever the show airs new episodes again.
